ENVELOPE

Westmont Projects is a construction company specializing in single-family homes. We are recognized for consistent construction quality, precise execution, and a high standard of craftsmanship across all phases of the building process.

Forming

Every following stage of construction depends on forming accuracy. Westmont designs and installs precise formwork systems to facilitate concrete foundations, walls, slabs, exposed architectural fea- tures. Methods include traditional cone-tie/waler system, as well as advanced forming methods, such as Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs), which remain in place after the pour and provide integrated insula- tion and a base for interior and exterior finishes.

Envelope

Westmont’s carpenters are technically trained and experienced in building envelope installation, ensuring assemblies are correctly detailed, properly sealed, and aligned with best practices for climate control and building longevity. Envelope steps include house-wrap, rainscreen, cladding, trim, in addition to modern net-zero envelope installation.

Framing

Westmont specializes in traditional wood frame construction as well as mass timber and engi- neered lumber assemblies. Our projects often com- bine wood and prefabricated steel components. Framing services range from simple wall construc- tion to complex intersecting hand-cut roofs. Thoughout the entire framing process, our work considers each following stage of a build; including plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.

Custom Design

Each project is approached as a custom design process rather than a standardized build. West- mont Projects collaborates closely with architects, builders, and homeowners to develop practical solutions for each project, tailored to its unique requirements. Our process spans from concept de- velopment through to detailed execution, ensuring design intent is preserved.

New Building Services

Beginning in 2026, Westmont Projects plans to expand its services through a Trades Collective Program. New construction capabilities will in- clude mass timber systems such as CLT and glulam assemblies, interior design and furniture solutions, and steel and concrete non-combustible residential construction. These services will be delivered in partnership with established manufacturers and suppliers based in British Columbia.

Our part in the bigger picture.

We see our role in a build as foundational. The accuracy, planning, and care we bring to our work set the conditions for every trade that follows. From layout and framing to sequencing and site coordination, our decisions affect how efficiently electricians, plumbers, and other specialists can do their jobs.
We work closely with other trades and consultants, thinking ahead to the details that influence their installations—clearances, alignments, access, and tolerances. When the initial work is precise, the entire project runs more smoothly.

Our focus is simple: do our part well, communicate clearly, and maintain a standard of work that supports everyone else on site. Successful builds are always collaborative, and we take that responsibility seriously.
