Our forming crews are experts in a range of complex foundations, suspended slabs, and architectural finishes.
FORMING
Every following stage of construction depends on the forming accuracy. Westmont designs and installs precise formwork systems to facilitate concrete foundations, walls, slabs, and exposed architectural features.
We rigorously follow provincial code requirements and uphold industry best practices without compromise.
Methods include traditional cone-tie/waler system, as well as advanced forming methods, such as Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs), which remain in place after the pour and provide integrated insulation and a base for interior and exterior finishes.

Forming considers both performance and final appearance.
Forming requires a clear understanding of concrete as both a structural and finished material. Work is carried out with consideration for retaining conditions, exposed features, and the specific demands of each pour.
After the Pour
Stripping is carried out in a clear, methodical sequence following the pour. Forms are removed in stages, allowing the work to be checked and surfaces to remain protected as the structure sets.
Materials are cleaned, sorted, and stacked with reuse in mind. Form ply and associated components are handled carefully, supporting efficient turnaround and continued use across multiple pours.
